We decided upon "RetroSoul" as the title of the album because, in contrast to the "NeoSoul" genre, we felt it fits who we are; throwback, old school soul singers. Though, from a production perspective, it has an equal measure of neo & retro grooves instrumentally, the root of our vocal prowess is pure old school. Similar to our previous projects, our versatility is in full effect on "RetroSoul." R&B, Reggae, Ska, Blues, Latin & Jazz elements are all part of the "musical gumbo" that's on the menu. Encompassing up tempo dance tunes that make you swing, mid tempo ones like the remake of our international anthem, "Whole Lotta You In Me" and sultry ballads that ooze with sensuality and melt in your ear. Ever mindful of our posture as "musical messengers" there are also, a few tracks with a pos! itive message to uplift and enlighten.
Moving right along, we can't find the words to thank our Asian brothers & sisters for their continued support and very much look forward to making our first appearance across the Pacific. Hopefully, the opportunity will present itself in the VERY near future, as we are getting clooser to securing touring dates in the region.
