BIOGRAPHY: |
I have been singing since the age of four. I grew up attending a penticostal church so Gospel music has always been a part of my life. As I grew up I started to hear other kinds of music (Soul, R&B, Jazz, Folk). I especially liked ballads.
I got a football scholarship to the University of Texas (Hook 'Em Horns!)
and that brought me to Austin, Texas.
Many people know Austin as the live music capital of the world. While living in Austin, I was exposed to another style of music by becoming the lead singer in a Blues band. However, I soon realized that I was too happy to sing the Blues and went back to my first love, Gospel. However, I would say my style of Gospel is pretty far removed from the traditional sound I grew up with.
I want to make music that engages the mind as well as the emotions. It
is music that is designed to make you consider the message of the Bible
and how it applies to your life.
