The writer, Richard Spencer(lead vocal, formerly of Leroy Taylor & The Four Kays), received a Grammy Award for the best new song of the year. |

The band was formed again by Jumpin Joe Phillips, who has been music director/guitarist
for many well-known recording acts such as the stylistics, Delfonics, Harold
Melvin and the Bluenotes, Eddie Holman, Ray, Goodman & Brown (aka The
Moments) and others.
Their CD album in 2002 included a remake of the William Devaughn classic
"Be Thankful"(For What You've Got"), (The New)"Color
Him Father", "I Love D.C.", and Tyrone Burwell's "Memories"(They
Always Come Back).
