Lonnie Givens, a talented individual from the Chicago area with a strong
baritone voice, and has been compared to Teddy Pendergrass and Issac Hayes,
began his career singing with "The Soul Sensations."
Later, he formed a group called, "Pick Of The Litter" and recorded
a powerful single "The Many Sides Of Love". After several years
with the group, Lonne decided to go single. His first recording, "The
Heat Is On," under the guidance of Mitchell & Austin Productions
of Detroit Michigan made Good Music.

He also created another piece of magic "It's All Over". The talent shown by this artist has created appearances with such artists as The Floaters, Detroit Emerald's, Patrice Rushen, War, Dennis Edwards, and Friends of Distinction. Lonne has worked extensively in the Chicago area receiving standing ovations from music clubs, dinner clubs, and concerts. He has toured the Philippine Islands, Tokyo, Tennessee, Arkansas, Las Vegas, Michigan, Florida, Wisconsin, and Indiana.
With the release of "The Salute To The Blues", Lonne made the
music world stop and take notice that he is on his way up! Now he has made
another mark on the music world with a strong CD that will let everyone
know that this talented artist is "Still Holding On". |
