One of the biggest surprise issue of recent years is that classic 70's Cleveland group "Imperial Wonders" is back in the soul scene with an 8 track CD album.

Imperial Wonders is best known for some of their high quality singles. For example, "You Live Only Once / Turned Around Over You" (Solid Foundation, 1972, US-7") written by Williams and Levert, has been loved by many soul fans in Japan for 30 years. Their singing abilities equal to the O'Jays in their vocals and harmony.

Their "welcome back" and first album is must item for any soul fans. The soulful voice, sweet melodies and five perfect harmony will move you. Especially after 3rd track, 5 or 6 tracks appeal to your heart.

"Time Machine" is beautiful 6-8 time number penned by Al Boyd and Larry Hancock, and reminiscent of old but good days of soul.
"Sweet Delight" is the lilting tune, the lead singers of different types sang intertwiningly together.
"Just Leave" is beautiful beat ballad in a quiet mood.
"You're Good (in the bed)", my most favorite track on this CD, is a massive and strong ballad, with the rasping baritone and thrilling falsetto.
"In The Bedroom" is a 'modern soul' dance tune with rap.

This release will captivate the listeners. Must album for soul fans.
